About

Here at K9s, all of the dogs are treated (and doted on) as if they were our own. We understand it’s extremely important for your fur baby to have a strong bond with its walker, and so a lot of time is put in to ensure the dogs are happy and comfortable when out and about exploring. We are a small team, providing a personal service and a friendly face at your door.

We are based in Thames Ditton and we cover all surrounding areas such as: Surbiton, Long Ditton, Molesey (East/West), Berrylands, Tolworth, Kingston, Esher, Claygate, and everywhere in between!

Around 90% of the dogs in our care are regular bookings. So your pooch will almost always recognise someone at ‘school’. We know it’s important to adjust them slowly, and make introductions as fun as they can be! Trial walks will be done with small groups, in order to assess your dog and let them find their feet.

We know the first day at school can be a little daunting (for dog and owner!) but once they understand who we are we - will soon become their favourite people! Often they can’t leave the house and jump into the van quick enough! The reception we receive from our extended furry friends is just the best feeling ever.

We strongly encourage dogs to book atleast one walk a week, if not more. This is to keep up momentum and ensure they are maintaining their friendships with the other dogs/walkers.

All of the dogs in our care are extended family, and we wouldn’t change our jobs for the world.

Meet The Team

Dollie - Owner

Hi there! My name is Dollie and I am the proud owner of K9s Dog Walking.
Residing in Thames Ditton, I have lived here for over 20 years. I started dog walking in 2015 for a local existing company, and 3 years later went solo in December 2018. I have always wanted to work with dogs, and I am so beyond grateful everyday to be able to do something I love so much. Monday blues don’t exist here at K9’s!

Since I was young, you would always find me with the dog. No matter how big or small, or how much noise it was making, I would always totter over and be sat in the dogs bed, chatting back.. I am, and have always been the crazy dog lady!

I begged my parents for about 5 years to get our own dog, and we eventually rescued a Border Collie puppy from Battersea dogs home. She was called Texas, and she lived with us for 15 years. She was my very best friend, and we did absolutely everything together. Tex and I grew up together, we were like sisters. Sadly she is no longer with us, but she was the very best dog I could’ve hoped for.

We now have a family rescue terrier, Bo, and two Border Collies called Dallas & Marshall.

You will see Dallas ALL over our social media pages, he absolutely adores dog school and quite literally goes everywhere with me. Bo is now a little older and hibernates during the winter, making a special summer feature whenever she feels like it! The pair are completely chalk and cheese but the very best of friends.

Jacob - Dog Walker

Hi! My name is Jacob and I have been here at K9’s since 2021. I have lived local to Thames Ditton my whole life, and known Dollie since we were in primary school! Working with dogs is also something I’ve dreamt of doing since I was very young, and I’m ecstatic to say it has finally become a reality!

Growing up my mum has always had schnauzers as you can see in the photos below - but we now also have an Alaskan Klee Klai called Evie. Not many people have heard of this breed, so keep an eye out for her on our social media pages, she’s very distinctive looking!

I have completed courses in dog training, and like the rest of the team I also hold a canine first aid certificate. I don’t currently have my own dog but I am hopeful to get one in the near future now I have the perfect job for it!

Robbie - Dog Walker

Hi, my name is Robbie and I've been here at K9s since 2021. I'm Dollie's partner and co-pawrent to Dallas & Marshall.

When I was a child my mum used to breed Westies and so it was a pretty dog orientated house. I used to adore caring for and playing with the pups for hours on end. I've always had a natural connection with animals, and I especially like working with the more reserved dogs to help bring them out of their shell. If your pup is more on the anxious side and needs extra help settling at school, I'm the guy for the job! It is so rewarding for me to see how much they grow in confidence when under our care, knowing I've been a part of their journey.

I can't imagine doing anything else for a living now, and I know I speak on behalf of the team when I say working with all of your lovely pooches brings us all so much happiness everyday.

Josh - Dog Walker

Hi, my name is Josh, I have been here at K9’s since 2022 and love, love, love my job! Sun, rain, snow… I love being outside and spending all day with dogs! I live in Surbiton with my family and our two senior Jack Russell’s – Harry Rockstar and Poppy Popstar. Growing up an only child my fur brother was a beautiful black labrador called Baxter, who was sadly blind for the last 2 years of his life. He was my absolute best friend.  Follow me on Instagram to see why I’ve got the best job in the world… k9s.josh

Ella - Dog Walker

Hi! My name is Ella and I've been here at K9's since 2024. I grew up in Surbiton, and took a huge leap moving to West Molesey in 2021. This job is a dream come true, I've never been happier at work! I've always been a dog person, ever since I was young I would take any opportunity possible to befriend the nearest pup. In 2011 my family rescued a beautiful three year old King Charles Spaniel called Kizzy, she was an absolute angel, filled to the brim with personality and boy did she know it! Sadly Kizzy isn't with us any longer, but my childhood house became a hotel for dogs who weren't invited on their family's holiday - which was brilliant for me! I currently don't have my own fur baby, but I look forward to rescuing one in the future now that I have the perfect work environment for them! Until then, I'll be doting on every dog I get to spend my day with out in the forest!

Mary - Dog Walker

Hi my name is Mary . I have lived in Thames Ditton for the last 32 years, the first 12 years I spent growing up with my beautiful furry sister Ella (Golden Labrador) who was also a baby 6 months old when I was born. We were inseparable, she was never far from my side. Then followed Macey our Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel who had an amazing 16 years with my mum and I. I have been working as a chef on Super yachts and in London restaurants for a number of years untill recently when I decided to change my lifestyle and do something I truly love, to work with dogs in nature, what could be better? During Covid I moved home and my mum retired and she looked after a gorgeous Maltipoo (Oscar) for 6 months and the seed was sown… four years later she has boarded many breeds from a Chihuahua to a Great Dane Mastiff. During that time I have enjoyed discovering all their own unique personalities and needs, and I now look forward to sharing nature with your fur babies alongside K9’s, gaining companionship, trust, loyalty and lots of affection. 🐾🐾
